Examination for various CTS and CITS courses are conducted under the aegis of erstwhile NCVT (National Council for vocational Training),Now renamed as NCVET (National Council for vocational Education Training)which is an advisory body set up by Government of India. The council has been entrusted with the responsibilities of prescribing standards and curricula for craftsmen training, advising the Government of INDIA on the overall policy and programmes, conducting All India Trade Test and awarding National Trade certifications.
